Waffles

Ingredients:
150 g whiteflour
1,5 teaspoon baking powder
 20 g sugar
40 g butter, melted
2,5 dl milk
1 egg
1 teaspoon pure vanillapowder
Lemon zest
A bit salt

How-to-do:
1) Melt the butter
2) Turn on the waffle machine
3) Mix all dry ingredients 
4) Mix wet ingredients and mix with the dry
5) Whisk until all lumps are gone
6) 'Paint' the machine with a bit coconutoil/butter
7) Add the dough and bake until golden

Geschnetzeltes // spätzle ala Marcus' mom

Ingredients for spätzle:
500g flour
2ts salt
10 eggs
1cup water

Add flour until dough is fluffy

Quiche w. leek & bacon // porre&bacon tærte

Ingredients:
Dough:
200 g flour
0.5 dl olive oil
1 dl water
1 teaspoon salt

Filling:
1 big leeks
Bacon

Eggfilling:
4 eggs
200 g cottage cheese
A bit of salt
Paprika
Onion powder

Cheese

How-to-do:
1) Mix all dough ingredients w. electric whipper and then finally with hands
2) Press into form, stick with fork everywhere - also on the sides
3) Bake in oven at 175C until golden
4) Add leeks and bacon
5) Top with eggfilling and sprinkle with cheese
6) Bake until golden

Vanillekipferl x-mas cookies ala Marcus' mom



Ingredients:
500 g flour
160 icing sugar + additional to cover the cookies
6 egg yolks
300 g almond flour (or milled almonds)
300 g butter
A bit of salt

How-to-do: 
1) Mix all ingredients
2) Form to desired shapes
3) Bake at 150C air oven

Spitzbuben x-mas cookies ala Marcus' mom

Ingredients:
1 kg flour + 575 g flour to stir in additionally
500 g butter
400 g sugar
8 eggs
2 tea spoons baking powder
2 sackets vanilla sugar
1 package of icing sugar to cover the cookies
A bit of salt
2 gl. Redcurrant jam/gel

How-to-do:
1) Mix it all with hands
2) We added approx 575 g additional flour to make the texture good
3) Roll out
4) Stick out the shapes
5) Bake at 160C airheat
6) Drizzle icing sugar at the top one

Mousakaa (arabic eggplant dish)

Ingredients:
4 eggplants
1 can of tomatoes
250 g dried chickpeas
3 onions
3 cloves garlic
Oil for frying
2-3 tsp Salt

How-to-do: 
1) Cut each eggplant in half and then half again
2) Fry in oil until brown and tender
3) Cut onions in slices and fry
4) Add chickpeas and garlic and fry with
5) Add canned tomatoes and salt, stir
6) Top with the fried eggplants
7) add approx 1 dl water and make sure that the water reaches the bottom of the casseroles by scraping the eggplants to the sides and making "holes" to let the water reach the bottom
8) Cook until the chick peas are tender

Serverede med ris til selvom dette ikke er normalt.
